BSL Deaf Heritage
Northern Ireland
Introduction to the BSL Deaf Heritage Northern Ireland
BSL Deaf Heritage Northern Ireland is a digital archive dedicated to preserving the stories, culture, and lived experiences of the Deaf community across Northern Ireland. Through rare video recordings, personal memories, and community history, this project brings together the people, places, and organisations that shaped Deaf life over the past century. It celebrates BSL, honours those who came before us, and protects this heritage for future generations.
